About
PHOENIX ARTS CO
ELEVATING, EDUCATING AND ENTERTAINING
Phoenix Arts Co is a theatre company based in Lethbridge, Alberta, dedicated to bringing consistent, high-quality, Broadway-style musical theatre to Southern Alberta. Our work focuses on artistic excellence, community connection, and creating meaningful opportunities for performers of all ages.

Since launching in 2025, Phoenix Arts Co has produced full-length musical theatre experiences that are accessible and engaging for diverse audiences. Our inaugural production, Newsies (July 2025), featured young performers and provided youth in our community the opportunity to participate in a professional-style production.

In November 2025, we produced Little Women in the round—the first time the Sterndale Bennett Theatre was used in this configuration—reflecting our commitment to innovative staging and intimate storytelling.

July 2026, we look forward to bringing the classic and magical story of Mary Poppins to the Yates Memorial Theatre stage.

In addition to our mainstage productions, Phoenix Arts Co offers musical theatre classes for youth, supporting skill development, confidence, and a lifelong love of the performing arts.

Beginning in 2027, Phoenix Arts Co will present a three-show season each year, with spring and fall productions featuring adult casts and a summer production that highlights youth performers in a family-friendly musical. Our long-term vision is to continue growing toward year-round theatrical and educational offerings that enrich the cultural life of Southern Alberta.
